An open-front PP corrugated storage bin is a picking interface. Its geometry should follow the shelf, the operator's approach and the way the part is removed—not a generic turnover-box checklist.

The project photos connect PP hollow sheet, a converted blank and finished open-front bins. Use them to discuss access and identification; confirm structural performance against the actual load and installation.

Describe the Picking Position

These inputs define whether the operator can see, reach and return parts without losing product retention.

  • Bin size: outside size, inside usable size, shelf depth and front opening height if required.
  • Picking direction: approach angle, hand clearance and the part's removal path.
  • Use condition: product weight per bin and whether the bin stays on a shelf or is also moved.
  • Quantity: trial order quantity and expected repeat order quantity.
  • Destination country: this helps us suggest carton, pallet and container packing options.

If available, please also send product photos, drawings, color requirements, label position, handle position and whether dividers or layer pads are needed.

Read the Blank as an Access Decision

The die-cut blank sets the front opening, side profile and folded edges. Check the finished opening height against the smallest part that must stay inside and the largest part or hand movement that must pass through it.

Keep Shelf Use Separate from Loaded Stacking

A bin supported by a shelf has a different load path from bins stacked on each other. If both modes are required, state both. The top and base interface then needs a separate review from front-opening access.

Place Identification Where It Can Be Used

Color can support visual grouping, while label positions and printed marks carry the specific SKU or route information. Confirm that the identifier remains visible when the bin is occupied and installed at its normal shelf height.

Review Handling Points

If operators move the bin, mark the grip position, loaded weight and carrying route. Handle openings, folded edges and product retention should be checked together rather than added independently.

Quote the Warehouse Interface

Send shelf dimensions, front-opening requirement, picking direction, product/load data and identification needs. Youqian Global can review the bin around the actual station before applying shipment and quantity details.
