PP Hollow Sheet

PP Hollow Sheet vs PVC Sheet

A practical comparison of PP and PVC sheets for signage, packaging, and industrial applications.

Material and weight

PP hollow sheet is usually lighter because of its fluted structure. PVC sheet is often denser and more rigid in solid-board applications.

For large signage, temporary displays, and packaging projects where weight matters, PP hollow sheet can reduce handling and freight pressure.

Moisture and outdoor use

Both materials can be used in moisture-exposed environments, but PP hollow sheet is often selected for washable, reusable, and short-to-medium outdoor use cases.

If the project needs longer outdoor exposure, UV-resistant PP sheet should be specified before mass production.

Best-fit applications

Choose PP hollow sheet for reusable packaging, protection boards, temporary signs, election signs, and logistics separators.

Choose PVC sheet when a solid, smoother, more rigid board is required for the project structure. Final selection should consider print method, installation method, budget, and expected service life.
