What layer pads do
Layer pads are flat PP corrugated sheets placed between layers of bottles, cans, jars, or containers on a pallet.
They separate the layers. Check product movement, load stability and packaging condition with the proposed pallet configuration under the intended storage and transport conditions.
Why PP layer pads are used
For wet handling or planned reuse, confirm the proposed sheet construction, edge finish and cleaning method with the supplier. Include moisture exposure, cleaning conditions and criteria for rejecting damaged pads in the sample evaluation.
They can be made in custom sizes, thicknesses, colors, and edge finishes according to pallet size and product weight.
